I work with tech operators and tech founders all day, every day. I typically play the role of connector, and other times, advice giver. Here’s some advice if you’re a founder and want to get someone excited about your company. This example applies to email, but I would say it’s the same whether you’re typing or speaking.

As I mentioned, we just announced our Series B funding of $30 Million, and we’re looking to find a few high-horsepower leaders to add to the team. Here are a few highlights about us:
Leadership: We’re experienced, repeat founders, and hell-bent on bringing our dream to reality. This is us here on Linkedin in case anyone wants to check out our backgrounds and what we’ve built: Samantha Smith and John Jacobs. Also, we have some awesome execs around us. Peter Pan just joined this month as our CMO and Captain Hook, our CTO, has been with us for years. It’s a great crew.
Growth: We just hit $5 MM ARR in Revenue, up 120% YOY. We are currently a team of 40 and will be at ~80 within 18 months. Happy to speak more about growth to whoever is interested.
